Grosvenor GUKPT set to return next year with £1.75 in guaranteed prize money
The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour is back, but this time with an all-new format. The revised tour, which kicks off early next year will feature twelve No-Limit Hold’em Main Events, each with £1,000 + £70 (£200,000 guaranteed) and £500 + £50 Deepstack (£50,000 guaranteed) tournaments.
Taking place in selected Grosvenor G Casinos around Engalnd, there will be a massive £1.75 million set aside in guarantees.
Each event winner will also earn a £2,125 seat into the £400,000 guaranteed Grand Final which is scheduled to take place in London in December.
All side event winners of events with buy-ins over £101 will also get free entry into the Grand Final. While winners of the smaller buy-in side events will get a £500 GUKPT voucher, valid in any event of the 2013 season.
The £100 + £20 GUKPT Goliath mega-event also returns and this time gets a guarantee of £200,000, double last year’s total.
