Negreanu on WSOP

Straight from the H.O.R.S.E.'s mouth – hear Daniel Negreanu's thoughts on the World Series of Poker

With so many tournaments being played and the sheer numbers of players attending, there’s no shortage of results and stories being produced by the World Series of Poker machine in Las Vegas.

PokerPlayer is bringing you the results from every single event – we’re already up to Event #25, over halfway through the maarathon 45 Events being played over the six weeks of redhot competition.

In addition magazine Editor Dave Woods is jetting over to cover (and win, apparently) the Main Event, due for kick-off on Friday 28 July. He will be sending back daily reports, and news of HillyFish’s assault on the the Big One. The aquatic one only has to beat the best 8,000 poker players on the planet. Easy.

And if that coverage isn’t enough, many of the poker sites out there are providing innovative options to keep you up to date with all the action.

Over at Fullcontactpoker Daniel Negreanu — arguably the most successful tournament poker player in history — has been telling it like it is on his daily online video diary.

Nowhere else on the Internet is a player of Negreanu’s calibre offering an off-the-cuff, unscripted viewpoint of what it’s like to live and work as a poker professional. You can follow his every move and hear his thoughts, most recently on the H.O.R.S.E event, and also what Negreanu does best away from the felt — work on his short game.

Negreanu’s video diary, which started on 26 June 2006, is available at www.fullcontactpoker.com. His frank commentaries on poker and life coupled with frequent anecdotes are definitely worth a look.

“Daniel has been giving fans an inside look at the world of poker for years,” explained Henry Chu, president, Big Stack Enterprises. “His insight into the world’s biggest tournament gives our online community even more access to the game and one of its most successful players.”
