Full Tilt to reshoot show in July
As the Black Friday casualties continue to mount, Full Tilt’s The Poker Lounge is to make a remarkable recovery after being cancelled soon after the events of April 15.
The show, which features a mixture of big name pros and online qualifiers battling it out for a $120k first prize in Wales, was all but over in April after organisers allegedly failed to provide the TV production company Presentable with an anticipated bank transfer.
But this week, a joint statement from Presentable and Full Tilt announced that filming for the 10-episode series will begin shortly, with both parties said to have always enjoyed an ‘honourable and mutually beneficial partnership’.
The Poker Lounge will be broadcast on Channel 4 every Monday, from July 25th through September 26th.
