Four-time world champion boxer and avid poker player, Carl The Cobra’ Froch, has joined partypoker as a brand ambassador and his first job was to knockout the old tournament schedule and replace it with the all-new Power Series.
Replacing all the current MTTs on partypoker, the Power Series consists of a weekly schedule of 158 tournaments, with a huge combined guarantee of $1,284,000.
Buy-ins start from $2.20-$11 at the Featherweight level and move up through $22-$55 Middleweights to $109 Heavyweights and $350-$1,050 High Rollers. It means that whatever your bankroll there’s a tournament for you.

There are marquee events at all levels with huge guarantees, including the daily featherweights, the $11 Right Hook ($10k guarantee) and $5.50 Jab ($5k guarantee). At Middleweight you’ve got the daily $22 Contender ($15k guarantee) and $55 Counterpunch ($7.5k guarantee, $10k on Sunday). There’s also a $55 Knockout on Sundays with a $10k guarantee.
The flagship Heavyweight tournament is the $109 Main Event, played every Sunday with a massive $150k guarantee, and there’s also a daily $109 Uppercut with a $50k guarantee. Four High Roller events play on Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday with buy-ins up to $1,050.

Play the Carl Froch $100k challenge
From now until December 6, each time you play a Power Series MTT on partypoker, you’ll earn points for the special Carl Froch $100k Challenge tournament.
On December 6 the top 99 players on the leaderboard will gain entry into the tournament, which plays on December 13, with a prize pool of $95k and a $5k bounty on the head of Froch.
Everyone who plays in the tourney is guaranteed $450 and the first prize is a cool $10k, which will ensure your Christmas goes off with a bang.
