Phil Hellmuth and Paris Hilton really love Carl’s Jr. burgers

Phil Hellmuth has been known as a lot of things in his lifetime; the Poker Brat, the best WSOP player of all time, a crybaby and, in some circles, even a fashion icon. Well, now you can add burger salesman to the list too, as Phil Hellmuth recently filmed a TV advert for American fast food giant Carl’s Jr. in Los Angeles.

The burger chain, which has featured Paris Hilton (pictured), Kate Upton and American Football star Terell Owens in previous adverts, is one of the most popular in the USA, particularly on the West coast where Hellmuth is from. The Poker Brat tweeted a picture from the set of the advert – you can view that by CLICKING HERE – on April 18.

Despite his lack of TV visibility in the last few years, except for WSOP season, Hellmuth has consistently secured bigger endorsement deals than any other poker player. His face was plastered on cans of notoriously cheap lager Milwaukee Best, he’s plugged energy drink Pro Player Endurance Formula and has had sponsorships deals with both UltimateBet.com and the Aria casino in Las Vegas.

It seems that mainstream American can’t get enough of the 13-time WSOP bracelet winner – perhaps now they’ll even be able to eat a piece of him if Carl’s Jr. launches the Brat Burger to go along with the upcoming advert. Curiously, it’s not the first time that Carl’s Jr. have used poker, however tenuously, to promote their products. Former VictoryPoker.com (remember them?) glamour girl Sara Jean Underwood appeared in a hit commercial alongside supermodel Emily Ratajkowski in 2012. In case you missed the ad here it is in all of its glory…
