Premier League: Liverpool changes will ensure that Chelsea fire at least twice on Merseyside

It’s easy to see Jose Mourinho’s side racking up a hatful at Anfield with the home side in woeful form

Brendan Rodgers’ brave decision to make seven changes for Liverpool’s Champions League clash away to Real Madrid very nearly paid off, with the Reds ultimately unlucky not to equalise late on against probably the best team in the world.

The Anfield gaffer should stick to his guns after Liverpool played their best match since striker Daniel Sturridge came back injured from England duty two months ago, but it’s likely that Steven Gerrard, Mario Balotelli, Raheem Sterling and Jordan Henderson will return for Chelsea’s visit.

That quartet have been regulars during a dour seven-game Premier League spell since the 3-0 win at Spurs, with the Reds conceding in all but one of those fixtures – the 0-0 draw at home to Hull.

Chelsea have scored at least twice in three of their five Premier League games so far this season and on their last two visits to Anfield. Therefore, 11/10 with Coral that they do so again smacks of value.
