Poker is coming to Prague in December with the inaugural partypoker WPT National festival. Starting on December 1, with an affordable €100 freezeout, the nine-event festival also includes the €1,800 + €200 main event (December 4-7) and a €3,000 8-Max PLO event that starts on December 6. All the events are playing out at the King’s Casino in the Corinthia Hotel.

‘With over 30 tournaments in Season XIII, WPT National Events continue to expand, enabling players from all over the world to experience the World Poker Tour at more accessible buy-in levels,’ said WPT President Adam Pliska. ‘We know Prague is a popular destination within the poker community and as original record breaking location, Kings Casino is a premiere property that we know our players will enjoy.’

Leon Tsoukernik, owner of King’s Casino, said, ‘It is no surprise that legions of poker players have been irrevocably drawn to the World Poker Tour. The WPT is internationally recognized as an exceptional tournament series and an instrumental in the image building of the poker game since 2002. Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. This combination, coupled with decent prize pools makes partypoker WPT National Prague an attractive proposition.’
